Your Wedding Dance
Planning your Wedding is a huge task, the first dance you have as a married couple is often overlooked.
At Bunbury Dance Studio we have taught many bridal couples to dance for their big day.
We pride ourselves on making sure you look good, feel confident and most importantly enjoy your first dance.
We recommend that you take 8, 1/2 hour lessons, although you can have 4, 1 hour lessons if that suits your time table better.
At the very latest you should begin your lessons 10 weeks before your wedding, this gives you plenty of time to relax and learn, without crowding the very busy last 2 weeks before the main event.
If you have a favourite piece of music you would like to dance to, we will need to have a copy before your lessons begin so that your instructor can tailor your dance to your music, alternatively your instructor can help you choose some music.
You will also need to consider what shoes you will be wearing on the day, what clothes you will be wearing, and the size of your dance floor.

My Husband and I took dancing lessons with Pat before our wedding on the 16th of April 2011.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dancing lessons with Pat. She tailored the dance to suit our wedding songs and gave us a simple routine that had enough variety to keep the guests entertained. The whole crowd loved watching us, and since we had kept the lessons secret, they were both surprised and impressed! Thankyou so much for welcoming us into your studio and making our wedding day that much more special. -Shane and Holly
Just a short note to say thank you very much.
Raymond and I took up dancing lessons for our wedding. We chose to do a Jive to Jimmy Barnes; "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher". Sue was our dance instructor and all I can say is we had a fantastic time learning the dance. Sue was great, showing vast amounts of patience at our initial fumbling efforts to string two dance steps together and our constant giggling sessions. How ever, by the end of the six lessons that we had, Raymond and I managed to astonish our entire guests by looking very good on the night.
Raymond and I have never done any form of ballroom dancing, so both Sue and your dance studio deserve a pat on the back. We think we did great and it was all down to you guys so cheers for that. In fact we had so much fun, that we will be coming back to you and the studio in the New Year to continue our lessons.
Again, thanks very much,
Lindsay and Raymond.
